What is a The Right Time Health Center?
Our goal is to empower patients to take control of their health by removing barriers to quality contraceptive services.
Summer is in full swing. Has the change in weather led to a change in your routine that has you thinking about switching birth control methods? Whatever your reason—maybe you’re traveling a lot or you’ve decided you don’t want to have periods anymore—The Right Time health centers are there with free or low-cost access to all the methods of contraception (so you don’t have to choose a method just because it’s what you can afford or what may be in stock).

When you do, you may notice that entering a zip code or a city in Missouri provides lots of health center results. Some of them are affiliated with The Right Time, but not all. You can tell which health centers are part of our network because they show up highlighted in green, like this:
The health centers in green are participating in a statewide initiative called The Right Time. We believe birth control gives people the power to make their own plans, on their own schedule, and on their own terms. Our goal is to empower patients to take control of their health by removing barriers to quality contraceptive services.
Here are some things to know about The Right Time health centers:
- At your nearest The Right Time health center, all methods of contraception are free or available at a low-cost, no matter what kind of insurance you have (or don’t have).
- Any method that you decide is right for you, you can get that same day. You do not have to schedule a follow-up appointment for one week or two weeks later to come back and get the new method.
- All The Right Time health centers put the patient first by offering inclusive, non-biased, and scientifically accurate care. Any method you decide to use is your choice, and providers will not try to influence your health care decisions in any way.
